Our Name
Our name captures the free spiritedness associated with RV travel, while also encapsulating the sense of comfort, home and rest that a campground should offer. Our name is comprised of two different ideas:
Dwell
to live in a location as a resident. Dwell Camp can be a home - a safe, comfortable place to stay for any period of time, whether it is a couple of days or several months
Camp
a place of recreation and relaxation. Regardless of what brings you to Dwell Camp - work, study, or pleasure, Dwell Camp aims to create an atmosphere of relaxation to allow you to retreat, unplug or recharge ​
Our Story
Dwell Camp was founded in 2022, but it is years in the making. Our founders traveled throughout the country in an RV during 2020 and discovered that the most frustrating part about travel was the campground experience itself - campground consistency varied significantly, Wi-Fi was unavailable or unstable, parks were often decades old and in need of repair and reserving sites was a painful process requiring multiple phone calls and parks were often expensive. Some parks, such as RV resorts merit the costs, but many campgrounds are expensive despite not offering a clear value or creating a safe place to camp.​​
This led to a vision; create the type of campground we would want to stay in - a campground suited for the 21st century and today's travelers at a reasonable price.
